"Man" Ends 11-Week Run With $33.7M

Today is the final day of release for Amanda Bynes' most recent movie, "She's the Man". It ends an 11-week run buffeted by comedies "Failure to Launch" and "The Shaggy Dog" and thriller "V for Vendetta", yet managing to scrape together a final total that will be just over $33,700,000. The final exact total will be available tomorrow.

The total, sadly, makes this Amanda Bynes' lowest grossing movie to date, but it does till rank as her best-received film yet, with DreamWorks putting together an attractive set of DVD features for its July 18 release. More news on that front: there will be nine deleted scenes, the most ever on an Amanda DVD release, a gag reel, three "making-of" features, and commentaries which will include a cast roundtable and one with director Andy Fickman. Wide and full screen versions will list for $29.99.
